michele,you are absolutely, 100% right! good work!ms. chan
michele,it's elementary....y-b/(all over)m =xfirst multiply by m to get:y-b=mxthen add b to both sides to get:y = mx + b
ruby,the problem you are asking about is:pie= c over d and we have to get D by its self!first, multiply both sides by d so that you get:pie (d) = cthen divide both sides by pie to get:d = c over pie

michele,
it's elementary....
y-b/(all over)m =x
first multiply by m to get:
y-b=mx
then add b to both sides to get:
y = mx + b
ruby,
the problem you are asking about is:
pie= c over d and we have to get D by its self!
first, multiply both sides by d so that you get:
pie (d) = c
then divide both sides by pie to get:
d = c over pie
